I’m a big fan of Keyboard Shortcuts, so here is a very simple way of setting your own up with any application on your mac.
- Access System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> “Keyboard Shortcuts” tab
- Click the “+” sign at the bottom.
- From the drop-down list, select Finder
- Type the exact name of the menu command that you want.
NOTE: A finder command would be anything under the “File” menu when you have the Finder selected. - Type in the shortcut you want
- Click the add button.

Great post Russell thanks !
